Fun, Loving Colorado Springs Family Looking for a Great Summer Nanny

  • Ages of Children: 7 and 4

  • Start Date: June-Mid August

  • Schedule: Part time, 25 hrs/week

  • Tuesday: 7:50am-4pm Wednesday: 12pm-5pm Thursday: 7:50am-3:30pm Friday: 7:50am-1pm

  • Compensation: $20hr

  • Live-in/Live-out: Live-out

About the Children:

  • Colton (7) is kind, smart, and funny. He wears his heart on sleeve. He likes playing soccer, reading, and drawing.

  • Caleb (4) is funny, smart, silly, and has a big personality. He loves playing hide and seek and using his imagination. He likes to sing, dance, and color.

  • Both boys enjoy swimming and are in swim lessons.

  • Both boys are active and like going on walks, hang out at the park, riding their scooters, and spending time with friends and family.

About the Family:

  • The dad works in sales for a local law firm.

  • The mom is a pediatric nurse practitioner at Children’s Hospital Colorado.

  • The family is fun, loving, and easy going. They enjoy spending time together as family, whether that is playing games at the house, playing outside, or exploring with hiking. They love the mountains!

About the Pets:

  • 2 dogs

  • Ruby is a Bichon Fries female (age 11 years)

  • Pumba is a Golden doodle male puppy (9 months)

  • They would need light care (pets and love, and to be let outside in the backyard throughout the day).

Ideal Candidate:

  • Responsibilities include light housekeeping (tidying up toys, meal clean-up, light meal and snack prep, keeping the kitchen tidy). Driving the boys just to nearby neighborhood parks to play. Activities with the boys (games, crafts, reading, math, outside play).

  • Nanny will have their own vehicle to drive kid’s around.

  • Someone who speaks fluent English, but okay if someone does speak multiple languages.

  • Not necessary, but would prefer someone who is Christian and has similar values.

  • The family is looking for someone who is kind, caring, responsible, enjoys spending time with children and engaging them in fun activities. They want someone who they can trust, and is reliable and timely.

Qualifications:

  • Previous qualifications as a nanny, babysitting, or working in childcare elsewhere (Church or other).

  • CPR or First Aid certified

  • Drivers License with their own vehicle and clean driving record

  • Non-smoker

  • No previous felonies
