Outdoorsy, Fun Family Looking For A Reliable Long-Term Nanny

About the Children:

  • Lucas (5 years old) loves learning! He has very strong feelings, crazy imagination, and often will say he is not up to do something but once you get there, he’s game.

  • Conor (3 years old) is a typical, crazy three year old boy. He loves to try to do things by himself first, loves playing outside, and also has a crazy imagination. He’s in the toddler stage right now so is 75% potty trained.

  • Location: Colorado Springs, CO

  • Ages of Children: 5 and 3 year old boys

  • Start Date: ASAP!!

  • Schedule: Typical schedule would be 11am-4pm for four days a week with an option for more hours. 18 hours always guaranteed.

  • Compensation: $25 an hour

  • Live-in/Live-out: Live-out

About the Family:

  • Both Mom and Dad are in the medical/health world. Dad is an ER doctor and MOM works PRN at Encompass health. The family loves to be outdoors and go out for fun activities together.

Schedule:

  • 11:30am-4pm guaranteed for four days a week.

  • Additional hours will be added weekly depending on Mom’s PRN schedule and those would either be 7:30am-4pm, 7:30am-5:30pm, or 11:30am-5:30pm.

  • Full day options will be available when kids or off from school or in the summer.

Pets:

  • Winston is a mini Bernese mountain dog who might need to be let out or walked depending on the length of the shift and if any parents are home during those shifts.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Mom would love someone who could clean up after the kids, rotating toys every other week, making the kid’s meals and snacks during the shift if needed, driving to activities, etc.

  • Mom would love someone that could help with age appropriate milestones.

  • The family wants someone who can connect with the kids but as an authority so the kids can trust the nanny and depend on her.

  • Their ideal nanny is someone who can take the kids on outings, especially on days with no school.

  • Open to communication, dependable and loving.

  • The nanny will need their own vehicle to drive the kids around. Car seats will be provided!

  • PTO and sick days will be provided. The family will also be giving a yearly bonus, with a potential for raises.

  • Mom will be providing money each month for the nanny to spend with the kids with activities.

Qualifications:

  • Clean driving record

  • Clear background check

  • CPR or First Aid certified

  • Valid drivers license

  • Nanny must need their own car.
